Recently, two "Shaheds" struck the Hospitallers' base in Pavlohrad during the night. Thankfully, no people or animals were harmed.

Thanks to prior organization at the base:"We had dispersed across the area. The animals were moved into enclosures," said Bagira, the Chief of Staff.

All three floors of the building and everything inside were destroyed by fire."It’s good that the sky took the building and not the people. The loss of the base is a heavy blow," said Jenner, the head of the Hospitallers' training center. "It was more than just a building. It was a sacred place where important things happened."

The Hospitallers' base in Pavlohrad had been operating since 2015. It had seen everything. It trained hundreds, perhaps thousands, of Hospitallers and served as a home between rotations. It was a second home for several generations of Hospitallers — and remains so in the hearts of all who were there. The fire took the walls, but it could not take the memory and the meaning.

Commander Yana Zinkevych: "Hospitallers' Base was a place of warmth, rescue, help, and humanity. It was a whole life filled with love and unity — and now there is only ash, ruins, shattered glass, and a silence that screams with unbearable pain. We have not become ashes — we have become a bright flame that now burns even stronger. We are fueled by anger, and we have no desire to stop."

The Hospitallers urgently need our help and support to rebuild their base and continue their vital work.
