Farewell to fallen Hospitaller Eva Reuter “Alice”

Recently in Kyiv, Eva Reuter’s family, friends, paramedics, and everyone who held her dear gathered to say their final farewell and accompany her on her final journey.

They said goodbye to Eva — “Planochka”/“Alice.”

A paramedic who evacuated the wounded, worked at stabilization points, provided medical consultations, and served as part of medical crews during attacks on Kyiv.

She was 25.

Behind those 25 years were lives saved, countless acts of help and courage, and so many people for whom Eva was there when they needed someone most.

Eva’s memory does not end here. She lives on in the people she saved, in her friends, and in the Hospitallers.

May her memory live forever.
