Last Saturday marked a significant milestone for the Songs for Ukraine Chorus, as they had the honor of presenting their second Christmas concert of 2024.
This event not only solidified their independent creative journey but also became a vibrant culmination of the year and concert season. The evening entered our history as a moment of unity and inspiration and the starting point for new ambitious projects.
We and the organizers sincerely thank everyone who contributed:
Audience – to those who came and traveled to be with Songs for Ukraine Chorus, and to those who stayed after the service to listen.
Iryna Estevez – a wonderful co-organizer, for her unwavering support for Ukraine, her initiative, and boundless energy.
Father Dominik – for granting the opportunity to perform in such a magnificent and historic church.
The talented composer and pianist Alla Sirenko.
The "Zhayvir" Bandura Trio – for joining the Christmas program and enriching it with their artistry.
Special thanks to Maestro Bohdan Parashchak – for his faith, tireless work, and inspiration!
Talented soloists: Arina Koroletska, Daria Moskalyuk, Oleksii Zasiadko, Olha Terletska, and Tetiana Makova – the true stars of the ensemble!
Roksolana Vasylychenko – a chorister and a remarkable flutist, whose performance gave “Shchedryk” its voice.
Photographer Zoreana Climenco, who traveled from Nottingham to capture these precious memories.
PLAST London – for their support and the delicious kutia prepared for our soldiers’ Christmas table. Together, we stand for Ukraine!
The concert was entirely charitable, and Songs for Ukraine Chorus continues to fund donations for Hospitallers Ukraine Aid, a campaign they launched during their first concert. All proceeds from ticket sales, donations made via the JustGiving page, and a portion of the funds from the first concert will be directed to support volunteer paramedics saving lives on the frontline. The fundraising remains open, and the final total will be calculated and announced separately.
Thank you to everyone for your unwavering support for Ukraine! Please continue to support our paramedics! #Hospitallers #Paramedics #UkraineParamedics #HospitallersUkraine #HospitallersUK #HelpHospitallers #Ukraine #SupportUkraine #HelpUkraine #StandWithUkraine #HelpUkraineNow
